Thirst

Hello to everyone and especially Ben (because I have just been thinking about you). I am doing grrrrrrrrreat in summer school. It is fun being around non-Christians alot. Anyways, I just got the urge to post on Blogger, so here it goes. I would like to post on the topic of peace if I may (If not Ben you can take this off :D). Peace is more than an emotion, but it is a feeling. Peace affects every aspect of your life, most certianly your emotions. It is never anxious which leads to being rude from being impatient (having a lack of peace). It is never worried. The person is in a state of trust that leaves a feeling of security and rest in the most troubling of times. Peace is irrational (YEA !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... hehe. see Phil 4:7). It gives one the ability to act on something that doesn't make normal logical sense, since it is the esscence of the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said his peace he would leave with us. When Jesus leaves you in a situation, no matter what it is, you have peace... He doesn't give to you as the world gives (anxiety, worries, doubt, fear), he gives what brings life and security and this always leaves you with peace. One more thing, he never forces, but rather gently allows anyone who wants, to recieve the intamacy of his heart. This is peaceloving, to not change by force, but to effect from a state of love and grace that comes through willing submission to both God and man. Peace leaves you feeling free to express yourself, even your weakness without being shot down. Peace is gentle. However, it is impartial and sincere, meaning it sticks to the truth. It is not wishy washy, but rather is the guiding agent in a very clear direction, that of truth. If you love peace, James says you are wise and will reap a harvest of righteousness, for you will be lead of God and his hand will promote you over all things, since you have remained in him through his peace. Take this tool and pray to God for more sensitivity to it, it will keep you in Christ Jesus all the days of your life. Blessings on those who love Jesus who has made our peace through the cross.
